This hasent been a problem until the new update came out for the phone about a week ago. I have the Samsung keyboard too in this phone and it doesn’t cause this issue in Obsidian, so something about the way Swiftkey does its autocomplete isn’t playing ball with Obsidian. Pressing the emoji icon when writing an SMS (built in function on Samsung Galaxy S6) makes the Samsung Keyboard to crash while using Swiftkey. It was doing swipe controls way before it became popular and the amount of customisation options the keyboard has never ceases to impress me, including layout, backgrounds/themes, vibration duration/strength, sizing, languages, modes, translation tools, clipboard, GIFs and more. It also doesn’t happen in the file name - only in the actual editor. I’ve been using this keyboard since way back in the day when before Microsoft owned it, and I’ve never seen this issue in any other app (Discord, Slack, any other note taking tool). But, Due to Android flexibility, this keyboard app can work better on Android compared with iOS. The only way I can type in Thai is to type every letter and not use the autocomplete.

The only way I can get rid of it is to try to select it and then “cut” (backspace won’t clear it). Once you have enabled your device to view emojis, you may need to tap a special icon on the keyboard to view the emoji. You can add your own shortcuts for frequently-used phrases or sentences. Tap the switch next to 'Keyboard toolbar' to make the toolbar disappear. I can’t delete it, and it causes the keyboard and cursor behaviour to mess up. Thankfully, both Gboard and Samsung Keyboard have the option of text shortcuts. With the keyboard open, tap the Settings icon that appears in the toolbar. Pasting that text anywhere other than Obsidian seems fine, here it is: สวัสดี​ครับ​ It also sometimes automatically selects it and gives me the option to cut/copy/paste.

If I use autocomplete when typing in Thai, the zero width space character (\u200b) appears after the word (a little red dot).
